On a Mac, select the Apple menu>System Preferences, and then click on "Network" in the sidebar.
Select the network you want to set up a proxy for and click on the "Advanced Settings" in the bottom right corner
Click on "Proxies" and select a proxy method you want to use, such as SOCKS Proxy. Then enter your proxy information. If the proxy requires account password authentication, check the 'Proxy server requires password' option.Finally click on "OK".
